Couple weeks ago I purchased 5 FJ Cruiser Trail Team Edition Rims with BFG All-Terrains (265/75-16) and decided to throw them on my 2001 Toy Taco. Also installed my Ultimate ToyTech Lift kit with new LR UCAs and Dakar leaf packs.

    What do yall think?

Last picture is from when I bought it stock.

All the changes from the last pic to the first really made that truck look tons better. Personally i love the wheel choice but didn't think it would work on a first gen taco, i can see those wheels look awesome on yours. Nice lift choice too. Hope it all serves you well! Nice truck!

Thanks guys! Preciate all the comments. Pain in the ass putting that lift kit on but I think overall it turned out great.

Thinking about investing in one of the PreRunner Tiregate tailgate replacements. What do you think?

Nice wheels and you won't see many others on the road.

Take off one of the beadlock rims and see how you like it. I have same set on a 4Runner. That rim holds mud and makes cleaning a pain. I think they look even better without the beadlock.

    Regardless, sweet lookin' rig.

Thanks!! Yeah I was actually thinking about doing that myself just to see how they looked. I've heard it Tacos can be a pain in the ass wheel wise but since these are hub centric and om they work great. Got them cheap too.

I got a pretty good deal on mine too. $600 shipped. Around the same time I saw the bronze wheels for $800 on CL locally.

That is a little less than what I paid, $1500. However, I got 5 rims in perfect condition with 5 nearly brand new BFG All Terrains (Only 1200 road warrior miles on them). I felt like it was a good idea because you never see them on Tacos and they are hard and expensive to get. Plus I love them and get compliments on them all the time.

Wheels and tires, or just wheels?

OP, did they bolt up just fine? Thought I read somewhere that the offset is different and some having problems with that.
