Is it a fine, a warning, or a "fix it" ticket?

Going 55 riding your brakes? When did you get your truck? I feel bad for the brakes.

I have many friends who are cops, There are ones with larger than life egos as any human. Laws in this day and age seem to be enfoced at will not as set forth by the law. Look at your president, he enforces only the laws he wishes to enforce and ignores what he chooses. So don't chastize me about Laws, it's not good form. I have seen a lot in my life, we should all be able to protect ourselves. I come from a concealed weapons state and proud of it. I will protect my loved ones and the bystanders as they should me. That's Good Form...
I don't know how this got off track that I was looking for a lens anyhow?

lol.... OP forums have a way of doing that. Not what youare asking for, but every state is different with thier BS or "pop" laws. In Louisiana the third brake light isnt even considered a brake light by law.

Most states with inspections if it has it, it has to work (and be seen). The OP never said if he was ticked and fined or just issued an inspection citation.

On a more serious note... would this apply to having a cap on the back of your truck that is blocking the third light?

My softop came with a LED 3rd break light I just never installed it....

    In fairness, they kinda do.
Leave the headlights on 24/7 and they shut off when you open the door.

Problem is, if you open the door, turn the key without closing the door, then shut the key off, they don't shut off, nor do they shut off if a door is opened before you kill the engine (passenger in a hurry to exit).
Ya... "Shouldn't you be out catching real criminals" and "I pay your salary" work a lot better.
    Interesting question.
My '94 came with a top light but the cap did not have one.

    Good deal brother.

I think my problem is I'm never serious. I've been doing well at pissing some people off recently but, at least it's only when I type or open my mouth.

    1) He's our president ... like it or not.
    2) You asked the question about law in your thread startup \/\/\/\/, and then say "it's not good form" when your question is answered.
    3) Your posts have a tone of disdain for LEOs, of which we have many members here who are very much appreciated by the TW community.

    4) More attitude.

    5) Did you even see this entry? It's the answer to your lens search. As well as a few other references to Amazon and Ebay in a couple of thread replies.

Just how I see it as far as "how this got off track that you were looking for a lens."

In response to all the police hate....

Next time you're in trouble, or your family is in trouble, don't call 911.
