Does anyone on here have a Saiga rifle? i'm looking at getting a scope for mine (nothing crazy no more than $150 for the scope) and i'm finding a lot of different scope mounts for the gun. not sure where to start narrowing them down. i'm reading a lot about the side mount quick releases, some good some bad. just not real sure where to start. any ideas?

the RS Regulate has probably the best systems for the AK rifle. After that you might want to look at Kalinka.

P.S. you should do a conversion on that thing, its not hard and it will make that gun feel more balanced.

You could also run a Attero mount. It replaces the rear leaf sight, with a plate to co-witness a red- dot of your choosing.

There may be an Ultimak railed gas tube available for your rifle. It would be the lowest scope mount available to minimize POI offset: http://ultimak.com/BuyAK.htm
