I called Tundra Racing before i ordered and told them my rear springs were sacked out. They sent me some rough country AALs which they thought would add 1 inch of lift. I think they raised it at least 2 inches. Thats why installed the 1 in spacer block. 2 bikes and gear are around 500lbs and it rode great.

Starting this year they offer a 5 lug double cab... I have seen a few slammed already and I think they can look awesome. Lowered trucks aren't for me personally as I enjoy offroading (at least as much as a 5 lug can handle :) ) but I still can appreciate the work that goes into them and love the look of them.

Didn't know if you knew of the 5 lug DC... just wondering if you would reconsider knowing of its existence.

I just installed the lowering kit from tundraracing.com and the ride quality didn't change much. I have no regrets on the lowering kit!

    Loud as hell URD exhaust!
Your truck looks sweet, I would lower my 4x4 if I didn't need it for hunting trips.

Why does everyone think you must have a 5-lug to be lowered and a street truck?

I would rather have a lowered 4x4 for driving in the northwest snow than a 5-lugger.

    Check out my build:)
I'd agree you get the look of being low without scraping and have 4x4 with a shit more power

Thanks I'm still working on other mods, just changed the head lights. I do agree don't need a 5 Luger either plus it took me a while to fine the right wheels to fit right with out a major off set!

Could you get a picture of how flush the wheel/tire combo is with the fender?

Sorry man. I mean how it looks when standing at the tailgate and looking towards the front bumper.

I added the Bilstein shocks from a FJ first, made the big holes on the way to work disappear!
The lowering kit for Tacomas, needed parts from the Tundra kit to work w/Bilsteins.
Found a man w/2013 wheels that he didn't need.
The 265/60/18s ride very nice, the wife loves my truck!

Now all I need are Sheep Skin seat covers and some
    seat heaters.

Thinking about a rear sway bar, any experience?

I have the Addco rear sway bar. It is amazing, now. I had to have better brackets made, where it mounts to the axle. The bar itself is quality construction.

I recommend Not getting the Helwig rear sway. It will rust up on you in no time, and the hardware is less than adequate.

I believe that Tundra Racing also has an adapter kit for an XR rear sway bar. Great improves stability, and since these aren't flexing off road rigs, then it is a worthy addition.

I knew they would. The stiffness adjustability really helps out when you have a load in the rear.
