    Guys,

I have a 2012 prerunner with 5100s on it set at 2.5" lift. Here are my alignment specs from Firestone. It seems to drive great, but the alignment specs I've seen posted on here make these seem way out of whack. I've read 0 camber, 0 toe, and 2.4 caster and I know I'm not going to get that with a lift and stock ucas, but should I expect better than this? Thanks for any help in advance.

    George

Sorry for the sideways picture...don't know how to fix.

They can bring that caster up a little more

    Edit: And lower your camber.

New Navigation DVD/CD/TV/AV/Bluetooth Stereo and seat mod spacers, 1" hubcentric spacers, seat heaters....
sounds spot on, you could add a bit more caster and it will track much better and help with the bump steer, otherwise you are perfect...

Is it a trade off between caster/camber? For example, if I tell them to give me more caster, will the camber go more out of whack?

No increasing caster should drop the camber down some. Unless you are totally maxxed on your adjustments.... if you are, drop those shocks to 1.5 or whatever the next spot is to gain some adjustment. Safety of the vehicle handling and excessive tire wear(expensive) are more important than how the truck looks! IMO

I'd say that is far from spot on or perfect. Ideally you should look for Camber/ Toe at 0 and Caster as close to 2.4 as possible. Too much positive Camber, not nearly enough Caster, Toe is close. I'd be having them realign it for sure.

It doesn't wander at all, and I've had it up to about 80mph. Feels just as steady as it should. I'm mainly worried about tire wear, and also the fact that I should get a good (in spec) alignment for what I paid.

MOST techs just get it in spec and not worry about marking it up. Me, I personally align it to what the vehicle is used for and the tendancies/flaws the vehicle design has in it. Try to find an independent shop with a very busy alignment tech. Ask to see the screen before the vehicle is unhooked and tell them what you want beforehand.

Update: just got finished at Firestone, and I'm MUCH happier. Here are the new specs for my Prerunner with 5100s set to 2.5". Thanks again for everyone's help. It drives so much better.
