Got a whole new problem with these Radflos: I tried to correct for a significant driver's side lean but adjusting the coilovers (with the tires drooping) is not doing anything. On the drivers side C/O I have 2.5 inches of thread showing, on the passenger side C/O I have only 1.5 inches of thread showing, but the PASSENGER side is still 1 1/4" higher than the driver's side? I even drove around for a while to get the springs to compress...What the hell is wrong with these shocks?

Just a thought as I'm not sure. But maybe they're different coil rates to compensate for lean. And you have the driver side on the passenger side and vice versa

Did you replace your rear leaf springs too. Some aftermarket leaf packs are side specific to help with taco lean and when they are installed on the wrong side it's between an inch to inch and a half of lean that can't be corrected by messing with the front end.

Both front springs are 600#....I did install new AllPro Offroad leaf springs but they did not specify side specific, I also measured the back end, left and right are just about level.

Did the spring packs have + or -'s on them?

Whats the center of hub to fender measurement?

The allpro springs are not side specific. Keep in mind the driver side is quite a bit heavier than the pass side. If you just installed your suspension... give it at least 2-3 weeks of use before getting a feel for what it really will settle at.

That said... it's not common to have a lot more pre-load on the driverside than pass side... mine had about 2" or so with the 600lb springs (winch/bumper/ect) and it still killed the 600lb springs over time... lol.

Can someone explain why these little things bother people?...a truck lean is on every truck I have ever owned. Just a question?

Thanks, ill check it out after some time, however, doesn't it seem a little excessive to have one side cranked about 1" higher but still be 1" lower? Where you saying yours was cranked 2" higher than the other side just to level your truck?

1" of pre-load doesn't equal one inch of height adjustment... I think that's where most people get confused. All you're really doing is changing the spring rate (cranking up the rate). In doing that, you will get lift on that side, but it's not really a 1:1 correlation...

Roger that. Totally understand, just didnt expect the ratio to be so far off between sides. I've been having issues with this set so this was just the icing on the cake. Maybe what this kit needs is some good trail time...

Preload has no effect on the spring rate. Its a 600lb/inch coil. Adding preload doesn't change that

OP, can you remeasure and go from the center of hub to the fender? Ground to fender has a lot more variables where the hub to fender is just suspension and takes the tires out of the equation.

Sorry, those measurements are from bottom lip of the wheel up through the center of the hub to the fender.

allpro long travel, shackle flip with ome dakars, cruisin offroad bumpers and sliders, 4.88 gears with arb's front and rear, budbuilt skids.
i bet you 80 percent of your lean is from the leaf springs. mine is like that to, 80 liters of fuel sags the drivers leaf really fast.
