Heck if I know. It may just be a bigger screen but IMHO already hooked on it over the transformer. I do know the screen is 10xs better than the transformer. And battery seems to be way up there. Been playing with it for over an hour straight loading apps and browsing here. Battery dropped from 97% to 95 %

I did appreciate the lack of bloatware on my Nexus. If I did not have the Surface, Nexus 10 would be my choice.

I have owned a few generations of iPad and I am totally satisfied with the technology. I also have an iPhone that I will be updating soon to the 5s. The universal apps between phone and iPad are great. I, as one of the other members posted use my iPad about 10 hours a day.

Banking, emails, scanning, reminders and calendar along with music and videos are mostly what I utilize. My iPad is 3G in addition to wi-fi, so I can use it while traveling with Rdio and Pandora.

Downside is the initial cost of the iPad for many, but you can find a refurbed older generation for a reasonable price. There are tons of free apps to be found also.

Read some reviews about the various products and I am sure you will make an informed decision that fits your budget and needs.

    Good luck in your quest.

They are damn good phones. Been left out in the snow for two days, rain overnight and gone through three or four wash cycles and still works. And you lost me at 2013.:notsure:

I have the asus transformer (believe its the 700 model). I got the keyboard attachment with it, and it doubles the battery life up to almost 15hrs. Been using for work and play for a year now, like it. Like anything you have to get use to it. Does have a usb, small and large card slots.

Yeah I saw the keyboard deal. I took the transformer back today. I'm extremely happy with the nexus 10. And the plus side I updated it to android 4.4 kit kat tonight. I haven't charged it ssince yesterday and was on it for a few hours today browsing. And then about 1 hour playing dead trigger. (Addictive as hell btw) and the battery is around 65% very happy.

    this and that...
i have both the "the new ipad" and ipad air. both are good. the only real competition for apple on the tablet front is themselves. the air is good. but if you do a head to head with the previous gen ipad, you wont notice a significant diffgrence in performance. sure its smaller, lighter, thinner, and have better internals, but i dont think its worth the upgrade if you have an ipad already, unless its first gen or ipad2.

    Reserected from the dead.

I run the Torque app off my Toshiba Thrive, but no go on running the Toyota Techstream off of it. I'm stuck using that program with my netbook.

That Techstream requires a 32 bit operating system. The android systems aren't compatable. I have no idea if the ipads can be run in a virtual machine mode. Maybe someone else has done it.
