Intermittent wipers don't shut off 2001

    It has been raining so I played with them. Even read the owner's manual.

    You move the stalk down to position 1 for intermittent. Then you rotate the dial to the desired position. OFF, INT, LO, and HI. But when I set the dial to off the wipers continue to operate. Is that they way it is supposed to work - there is really no off when using the dial? Otherwise the only way to shut them off is to move the stalk all the way up.

    Large Storage Box, 02610 intermittent switch swap, "Hot Wire" Power Outlets, DRL Shut Off, Disable Fob Beep, Disable Seat Belt Buzzers, Parking Light Mod, Battery Tender, 4 Leaf Spring Pack, Rear Headrest Removal, Factory Tow Package (7 Pin) Rear Diff Mod, Taco Lean Mod, 2WD Low ECU.
    Off int lo hi are stalk positions. Rotating the dial is for the segmented area only.
    The dial only sets delay time.
