Michael Bay put too much in to make a great movie. It was an okay movie, the action and computer graphics look good. I got to see (from a distance) the set they had here in Tucson.

yeah, and when he was looking for the matrix the military also had optimus, so there is not much difference in that if he was going to be revived with either the all spark or the matrix. I know its about robots etc, but for me, what I liked about the first movie lacked in this one. Still it was pretty okay movie, I would watch it again.

i liked the first one better but the second one was still good. as for megan fox, i hate her. yes she is hot and i'd like to let her hold it, but you can tell just by looking at her she is a huge bitch. plus she has the dumbest ink i've ever seen. i like ink on a girl but not hers, its stupid

DUDE THOSE THUMBS!!!! Megan Fox has some ugly thumbs, I'd still hit it, but she'd have to put some gloves on:D The movie was freaking cool though, better than the first I think.

oh, the one i'm talking about is on her ribs and says something along the lines of "once there was a little boy that broke a little girls heart and she never loved again" or some stupid shit like that. i read what she said about it in an interview one time and i just wanted to punch her. "for me tattoo's are about rebelling, so when someone says i shouldn't get something it makes me want it even more". dumbass

    Nothing yet, brand new!

ummm your looking at her thumbs only??

We went to see it the other day on IMAX screen. It was pretty good but not as good as the first one. Which is what I was expecting. No loss though I'm hearing there will be a third in 2012.

On a side note: the album does have some really good tunes on it.

I thought it was a decent plot and all, albeit with some holes. The thing that I didn't like about the movie were the low brow attempts at humor. It was just a bit forced and high schoolish. The wrecking balls hanging down between the big dudes legs and the sector 7 guy saying to aim for his testicles was a good example of this. Just too obvious and forced for me to find it very funny.

But I'd still watch it again for the fight scenes and the cars.

A lot of people are trying way too hard to make this movie more than it's supposed to be.

It's a summer effects flick about transforming robots guys. Directed by Michael Bay. It's not art, but it's not supposed to BE art. You're paying for two hours of shit blowing up, enormous robots kung-fuing, and that part near the end where Megan Fox is running in slow motion. Yes, the writing is only there to provide an excuse for Autobots and Decepticons to wale on one another.

It doesn't make any apologies for what it is. It's designed to appeal to males 10 - 70. That's why you have equal parts cool cars, special effects, titties, adult humor (the Witwicky parents) and juvenile humor (farting robots). My personal favorite joke in the whole film met somewhere in the middle ("There isn't a tighter shirt! We checked!")

They want your money, you want to see Optimus Prime kick some ass. Check and check. If you're expecting more than that, you're a sadly misinformed person. Movies don't always have to be art and they *won't* be with Michael Bay. Sometimes they just have to be entertainment, and it *is* entertaining.

I thought the tighter shirt was funny too. The little dude humping Megan Fox's leg was a bit weird.
