Did the price of metal go up along with everything else in america? I was looking to getting the n-fab light bar about 6 months ago (maybe even a little longer) and now I'm weighing my options again. The bar now is $165 and I could've swore it was about $125-$130 when I first saw it. Am I wrong

I bought mine from N-Fab four months ago and it was $165.00 and that included tax and shipping. Call them on the phone and ask for a discount like I did.

It is very close but not exact as the Smittybilt requires drilling while the N-fab does not.

At least that is what the description reads. :notsure:

Or is it really just bolt on and go? Would like to know for sure on this.

I'm pretty sure it's bolt on. I haven't seen one that's welded since it would be very difficult to mount it if it's one piece. Just an FYI, I believe Smittybilt has some kind of agreement with N-fab where they sell their products such as light bars and predator steps and N-fab actually makes them and even have the N-fab stamps on them. So if you are also looking for predator steps, I would search under Smittybilt and it is usually quite cheaper for the N-fab product. The install manual I found for the smittybilt light bar is bolt-on and if you read the fine print in the box on the bottom of the page, N-fab is mentioned to some capacity:
