    Hey guys,

    First post in a while.

I ran into a light pole today :smack:

    Need a little help

Front bumper, driver side headlight and assembly are done. Fender might be salvageable, I think the flare is ok.

How much will the dealer charge? I can fix it myself, but am wondering what the costs will be. (Not putting in on insurance)

Heres a crappy pic from my bathroom window

Pretty sure it will be 2-3X the cost of doing it yourself. You can take it to the dealership and get a free estimate but I would look in the TW classifieds for the bumper and headlights since those items are usually upgraded and sold. Local CL, wrecking yards, or eBay are also good places to look for parts. Labor should be easy and straightforward unless you have frame damage. As flimsy as the factory bumper is, I would take it off and try to hammer it out just to get by until replacement.

Well if you decide to put it thru insurance you may be able to get the cash and get a steel bumper so next time you hit a pole it won't be as bad.

But you may want to check the for sale section. I may have seen a bumper for sale there, I know there are headlights and marker lights there.

Deer impact on the same area, including flare and front quarter panel was ~3.8k at a body shop.

    I'm gonna do it myself.

I know I need front bumper, headlight, and all the misc. parts in between.

Will probably be around $500 in parts

    Some stuff...
As of an hour ago I'm in the same boat. Some fucking fat pig hauling ass across the parking lot as I was pulling out of my parking stall literally came out of no where in my blind spot and I turned right into her. Not even 2K miles on the beast. Oh well, steel bumper time....
