looking for something very low profile and relatively cheap so i was wondering what you guys would recommend.

I was looking into possibly a roll up cover, since they seem to be the cheapest. Ionic roll up looks alright for the price

    I've got this one:
    http://www.truckalterations.com/html/accessrollup.html It was $340.

I like it but I've only had it for a few months. I had an Access cover on my last truck for 5 years that gave me no trouble.

I forget the difference with the one above and their Literider which is $285 but at the time I decided it was worth the extra money.

I recently bought an Access Tonnosport roll up off of Amazon for about $250. (I had a $250 Amazon gift card)

If you look at the Access covers, there are 7 models - 3 low profile and 4 standard profile. I wanted low profile, since I think they look better, and I don't care about using the bed rail tie downs.

I really considered the two more expensive low profile models (Vanish & Lorado), but the extra $$ for what seems like minor differences didn't seem to be worth it.

I did end up ordering the Element Seal and the Trail Seal from Access just to try and make it as weatherproof as I can. I think it was $40 for both of those.

I'm very happy with the cover so far, although I haven't had the truck in the rain since I added the new seals.

Ya I got the limited and my only bitch is the handle or lack of a handle to open it. My last limited had a nice 1/4 turn handle, this one has a strap that you pull, pretty cheap :(

Kind of a 3 handed job. The utility rails go on the inside, and I was surprised at how heavy they were.

Only issue I had was removing the bolts holding the rails. I twisted a head off one and had to grind it off and then take the stud out.

So far the cover is holding strong.

One from Craigslist. No tax, half the cost of retail, and plenty of choices out there.

A little late - but if anyone else is reading.
Personally, I've owned 'rollups' before (with snaps) and I'll never go back!!

Snapped rollup covers suck when you have temperature extremes. When the weather is cold and you have it OFF - it's impossible to put it back on because the vinyl shrinks and you can't reach the snaps. You gotta let it sit in the sun to warm up before you can snap the cover back on. You live in Florida...so you may or may not have that problem. Rollups are just so ugly when they're rolled up. The frame setup will always be stuck to your truck.... bla bla bla

Save up your money and get a 'folded' style.

I have the Advantage Torzo Top. It's probably the best damn accessory I've purchased. I've had mine for 6 years now. It folds up easily & quickly. You can remove the entire thing (frame & everything) quickly and easily.

Pay the $ and save yourself all the Advils. I'm rocking an Undercover Flex for my 2007 Access Cab 4x4 with 6' bed. $700 is money well spent. Fewer headaches, great protection, and it's able to lock in order to keep the honest people, honest! :D

I had a ARE canopy but sold it right away on Kijiji. Both my wife and I just did not like the look of that large baby while reversing. Now the Undercover Flex folding cover is great for the light load I carry to the dump and it opens up for the times I need to help a buddy move a couch or loveseat.

This Flex tonneau cover is great for my needs. Rock what works for you! :)

    Cheers,
    Barney

Looks nice, but that extra 6-8" at the front is important to me. Also, the soft cover rolls up just nice, and rolls out perfectly. It's been only freezing temps since i've installed it and it works great. One million times better than the old snap down cover my cousin had on his ranger 10 years ago... that thing was terrible.
