Am I seeing these forecasts correctly? Potential for 5"+ of snow tomorrow morning? Where the hell did this come from? Usually they're hyping up snow a week in advance; this time it's less than 24hrs.

They have been all over the place lately. They can't tell the weather. I just watch the animals, yesterday, even in freezing rain they were out picking food. That's bad news for the next day.

I got about 5" yesterday before the ice hit up in Northern Montgomery, MD. I've been hearing everything from straight rain through the night and all day tomorrow, to a mix, to straight snow starting late tonight until tomorrow afternoon. I don't doubt that there is definitely somehting coming, but I don't think they can really tell what it's gonna be. especially after looking at how far off they were yesterday. I had been hearing 2" all weekend and some areas in Frederick about 20 miles north of me got almost 9". One of my contractors said he got 11" up by the PA line.

Weather prediction...the only occupation where it's acceptable to give yourself a 200% margin of error. Somewhere between 2" and 6"...that would be like me saying, "Yeah boss, that project is going to come in somewhere between $2,000,000 and $6,000,000." That just wouldn't fly...

Exactly! Its like the best and worst job ever, no risk really of getting in trouble as long as your somewhat right but even if your wrong its "unpredictable". But if your wrong you might piss off alllooooootttt of people haha

Anyone know of anywhere around here that I can buy a new shackle or do I have to order one? I forgot and left the one I had on my hitch receiver and some fuckhead stole it in the Home Depot parking lot

I bought this one. I've had zero problems with it. After my lift, my OEM antenna kept smacking all the signs in the parking garage and it was getting to be too annoying swurving around them and getting looks from all my coworkers....BOYOYOYOYING BOYOYOYOYING BOYOYOYOYING! lol in retrospect, it was pretty funny....
