I'd call it green. Forest green, maybe emerald green, pine green, but not teal.

It's easy for us to call it the way we see it. We don't have to live with her :D

I hear you man, its running joke with me and my wife. Apparently she thinks I am color blind or that is the joke anyway.

You need to decide if you want to be right and in the dog house or if you want to be happy and getting it. ;)

This may help.... from the pic it doesn't look like any of the choices.
1998 Toyota Tacoma Locate Color Identification Plate FAQ'S. Color Color Description Color Code White 045 Black Metallic Clearcoat 204 Red Pearl Clearcoat 3K4 Orange Pearl Metallic Clearcoat 3M1 Beige Metallic Clearcoat 4M4 Green Opal Metallic Clearcoat 6P4 Dark Teal Green Pearl Metallic Clearcoat 751 Gray Purple Pearl Metallic Clearcoat 926 Dark Purple Pearl Metallic Clearcoat 938

Found another site that made more sense. Looks like Evergreen pearl to me.
    Choose Color (1998 Toyota Tacoma)
Make Note: The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. The code will have a C/TR in front of it. A typical code will look like C/TR: 1D4/FH13, and 1D4 would be the color code in this example.Color Code Color Description Vehicle Part 045 White Exterior 204 Black Met Exterior 3H7 Cardinal Red Exterior 3K4 Sunfire Red Prl Exterior 3M1 Copper Canyon Mica Exterior 4M4 Sierra Beige Met Exterior 6P4 Surfside Green Mica Exterior 751 Evergreen Prl Exterior 926 Lavender Steel Exterior 938 Mystic Purple Mica Exterior

I looked on CarsDirect.com and found the same colors listed for a '98 Tacoma as AL417: Surfside Green Metallic and Evergreen Pearl. Both of which would be GREEN! Much like your truck funniest thing!

It is a bluish-green, but not Teal. So in light of the fact that it is not Teal, the only other choice is Green.
