OME Lift info

I have a 2013 Tacoma TRD Off-Road. I'm looking to add a 3" lift and 33" tires.

I just wanted to see everyone's opinion on this kit:

I'm not doing serious crawling. Just some modest trail riding.

 

Rides stiffer than stock , of you get the Dakars the load carrying characteristics are greatly improved

 

With the 3" of lift will 33"s rub? Also, has anyone had any issues with the control arms? I anticipated needing a diff drop kit but I prefer to do it right the first time

 

It'll be hit or miss if you will get a good alignment with the stock UCAs. Some people have been OK, others haven't had luck. I did it right the first time and replaced the UCAs as well. Differential drops are worthless on 2nd generation ('05-'14) tacomas.

 

What about the diff drop makes it useless? But to thread Jack but I apologize for the noob question.

 

It doesn't really drop it on the 2nd gens, only slightly rotates it. Doesn't help much at all.
