How she sits today...


How it all started...



First Mods, debadging the tailgate, PlastiDip the door badges, BHLM, and window tint



Then came a tonneau cover and a TRD tailgate badge


Helped a friend move, so she got to tow her first trailer

Just a random picture of my pup in the back seat... He loves to ride in the truck!


A picture my dad sent me a pictures of my TITS... I was in Korea when it snowed in Atlanta.

 

Soo, it's my first day of leave back in the states. I saw my girl for the first time in 8 months and started to install the goodies I have been ordering.

First was the ScanGuage II with Blendmount.


Swapped my cheap Amazon TRD badge for a TRD TX style one and installed my BAMF CB antenna mount. I also took of my Nebraska plates since I'm not stationed there anymore.


And the last thing I did was install the TRS xB LED fogs and my Wounded Warrior Project front plate since the dealer in Nebraska I bought it from drilled holes in the bumper to mount the front plate.

Where did you get your rearview mirror?

 

It's the factory mirror auto dim/backup camera mirror for the 2013.

The scanguage is mounted above it on a blendmount. Checkout their website http://blendmount.com/ .

 

I got the SmittyBuilt N-Fab step bars installed to replace the stock chrome ones. I also finished the retrofit today! Yay!

Today I got my Grabber AT2s installed. They look mean, I just need to get them cleaned up now.



Still to get installed...

- OTRATTW switches (I still have to do the write up for those as well)
- Weld light tabs on the Avid light bar and repaint it
- Install the Dually D2s on the Avid bar
- CB Radio install
- Bullet Proof Fabrication (Matt123) Skid Plate and Recovery Hook

 

Thanks! The lift will probably be delayed until next summer at the earliest but it's definitely on its way!

Its amazing how much of a change the BHLM looks on a white Taco. I like

 

Thanks! I thought about blacking out the bowl too, but I'm glad I didn't. I like the little bit of chrome to contrast the black.

Also, the decal is awesome thank you! Even my folks like it a lot.

I fell off the grid spending a little quality time with my family. Here is a day time picture of the OTRATTW switches that I got installed. Hopefully tomorrow I will get the writeup for swapping the factory fog switch to the OTRATTW one done.

 

It seems like I don't visit the site much lately. I guess I've been spending time with my family before I have to go back to Korea to finish my tour. However, I did get my Avid light bar painted and installed. So my truck is almost finished for sure.

When I come back to start my drive to Alaska I'll have the engine block heater installed along with a remote start system. Other than that I think she is ready for the adventure awaiting us both in January.

 

which retrofit kit did you go with? D2S, FXR or Mini h1

 

I did the mini d2s. I was worried because I had to cut up the rubber gasket on the back of the headlight and it doesn't seal anymore. But I have pressure washed the truck and it's been in a massive rain storm with no more than a little fog inside the lights the next day. I'm going to order new gaskets eventually, but for now I'm good.
