So I've had my 1999 Toyota Tacoma for a couple of years now. It has a 2.4l motor with a couple of performance upgrades. I was told when I purchased the truck that it had a performance chip somewhere in the truck. Unfortunately, the guy who sold it to me wasn't the original owner, consequently unable to tell me where the chip was located. Is there anyone out there who is familiar with 1st generation tacomas and could give me a general location to look? Greatly appreciated!
