Okay, so I just bought a new '14 Taco Access cab in Blue Ribbon Metallic this week, then I stumble upon this forum the night I bring 'er home. Great source of info and mods that are now on my 'to-do' list. Cha-ching...:D The behind the grill LED light bar is on the list, as are a ton of others I didn't know I wanted till I started digging around here. I can see the 'ol VISA is gonna get a healthy workout....

    .
Get a defibrillator for your wallet, hope you ain't planning on payin for any more of your kids' college fund than a JC. Don't have kids yet? Don't bother, too expensive and trust me, they only get uglier with age, wreck your shit and turn into ungrateful big kids. For the wife? Two words: Cubic Zirconium. Vacations? Only it involves the truck. Beer? Cheap. Did you know that the human body can survive just fine on 1200 calories a day? =more money for mods. Any other addictions/habits you may have, give them up now, they cannot compete with your truck. Other people driving your truck? Over your dead rotting corpse, best friends, family bonds, all that 'blood is thicker than water' bullshit? It does not apply to your truck, IMO, I wouldn't let Ivan Stewart drive my truck and that's no lie. NO ONE drives my truck but me. If you're single, stay single, if you're paired or married, start working on her liking the truck, it's your only hope and if that doesn't work, remember, in many ways a truck is better than a woman, don't complain, doesn't take forever to get ready, doesn't whine when you get lost, takes you wherever you want to go and my fav, your truck will ALWAYS make you look good.

I have come to realize that in fact, all of my relationships are ultimately secondary to the truck, as it should be, in fact, I like my truck more than I like most people. My truck? She doesn't like most people either.

Welp, that about covers it, if you think you're doomed it's 'cause...well...you are, but if you are gonna be on the road to ruin and Hell at least you will look stylin on the way there.

    not a lot
same here after years of holding on a 4x4, i finally broke down and got a 2014 4x4 DCSB OR.

Now, I don't know how long before i break down and start the Mods..

I like the stance of a 3" lift and some big tires. Still figuring out a good balance on what I like, can afford.
Not sure either on what i will need, depending on i how deep on off-loading I get into.

Welcome! And I was in your situation a couple months ago after I got my Tacoma and joined up here. Outside of necessities and Christmas... there's only one thing I've spent my money on since. :D
Oh, and checkout the Colorado BS thread if you haven't yet.

In just 3 days, I've come up with the following mods: LED Light bars behind the upper & lower grills, rock rails, outside temp gauge, tailgate lock, in-channel ventshades, upgraded head & fog lights, Flyzeye interior LED's, Redlind hood struts, rigid mount ammo cans in the bed, and I know there's more to come.

You seem like the kind of guy that spends a lot of time off road. I would recommend weathertechs to be added to your mod list if you're serious about keeping your carpets clean :)
