How sturdy are these? anyone hit anything or pushed a snow burm or anything with them? would love some pictures of silver tacomas with lift or no lift on them. And lots of lights!

I have a plate bumper now but I had an avid bar before. It was hit by a car in a parking lot. I also hit it on a bolder pretty good. They are steel and bolt to the frame so they are very sturdy. The bar never bent. I chip the paint off a few times. I painted it myself with bedliner so I could touch it up myself.

It comes in unfinished steel. If you really wanted to, you could find a local metal fab shop and have them add some bars where you want.

Avid themselves probably won't do very much modifications to the original design, they can't really afford to take extra time on any one part since it'll likely delay other orders.

they are good, let somone drive the truck once and rear ended someone at a decent speed. smashed up their trunk good. the avid held up but was pushed back maybe 2-3 inches towards the bumper and the oem bumper was undamaged. the brackets where it mounts to the frame bent a bit and bent the brackets on the frame. Fixed both with a heavy duty vice and went with an arb afterward
