Recently, a friend of mine snapped the passenger side mirror brackett. The actual mirror itself is intact and does not need replacing. However, the brackett that holds and attatches the mirror to the truck has completely snapped. Any recommendations on how to fix this issue without having to completely replace the entire part (mirror and all) as that is Toyotas only solution.

Junk yard or ebay might be your only other solution.

Can't tell from your pic just what the problem is..... If'n it's just broken plastic... fix it..... Use J B Weld and it will be the strongest piece on your truck....

Do not replace it if it's just plastic work...too easy to fix man..

    Good luck

    Other than replacement.

Head to Lowes and grab either some JB Weld or Plastic Epoxy. Niether will be fun to apply but they will hold. You'd be looking at ~$10 for either product.
