I have a 98 SR5 4x4. I want to upgrade the headlights on the truck.

Anyone have a recommendation of some to go with?

Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
    +1

Pretty much anyone here will tell you that as well. Spend a little bit more money and do it right the first time. You will have NO regrets with the brightness and light quality.

Buy from The Retrofit Source (TRS), breakfast of champions.

Stikle, would you mind pointing me in the right direction on that website? There are so many different choices and I am lost lol.

So I order the headlights that Yoterdude recommended then buy the projectors from the website you listed?

I can't speak specifically to which one you need. I have the year prior to yours with different headlight housings and going to HIDs was a whole different pain in the ass ball of wax. You might be able to just buy the HID kit and easily drop it in place.

Typically this is the course of action...although you may be able to just upgrade your lighting with the housings you currently have.

Someone else I'm sure will chime in, or contact the folks at TRS. They have excellent customer service.

I'd also check over on the Lighting Forum.

Gatrapper, I retrofitted my headlights with with the Morimoto Mini projectors from The Retrofit Source and that is the route you want to go unless your for the challenge of a harder retrofit like the FX-R projectors. Here are the projectors I order and the they are a great company to deal with plus they are located in Atlanta which I see isn't too far from your location.

Oh and here is the thread that I followed for my retrofit. Props to Konaborne for the walkthrough!
