    @MMILES, all a resistor does is provide some resistance to the flow of current. A resistor is not an intelligent device, it’s just a passive component. There’re are so many ECUs available in the market and you need to choose one based on your requirements. Most people don’t bother about this in the start but please note that getting an ECU which could easily be tuned should be the key here. People try to see if the ECU has a lot of pre-sets that they can use but that’s not how it should be anyways.
