It was brought to my attention that I may have a bit to much angle on my cvs. I have adjustable C/Os so im not sure how many inches of lift I have

I have manual hubs also so im not worried about the boots rubbing

WOW! Even with manual hubs, if you are at full droop and try to power through something with the wheel turned, kiss your axle goodbye.

What are your coil overs adjusted to now? You could also put in a diff drop, some say it helps for me it helped a little.

Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
My personal mechanic works for a dealership as his day job. When he put my Toytec lift in, he specifically had me order the diff drop kit (from Wheeler's) too, which he put in.

When I discovered my leaky CV boots, I asked him about the angles, and he said they were fine.

Here's what mine look like with the drop kit and a 3" lift.

Yeah I dont think mine is much dofferent then yours. I prob have an inch more lift then you. Im gonna take the coilover off this weekenfd cycle the suspension and beat every thing back with a BFH and im not gonna do a diff drop. Waste of time and money IMHO

Do the diff drop... imo first gens need it. At full droop you will risk tearing your cvs to shit..

I agree, diff drop does help. In a game of inches, every little bit can help.

Do a diff drop! It takes like 20 mins to install and are only like $25.

nope not doing the diff drop. gonna pull the coilover out tomorrow, cycle the suspension so i dont rub any where at full stuff, and then im gonna lower the COs so my angles are better and my ride is a lot softer. but keep in mind ive got 4 full days of wheeling on these CVs with this angle and not an issue

Hows this for my new angles. Beat back the fire wall and dropped the coilovers down a good bit. I did 7 full rotations on the collar.

Looks better to my untrained eye. Why don't you take off your strut so you can get a better pic? :D

The boots are still smushed together... might want to consider taking the cv clamps off and sliding the boot and 're clamping with hose clamps..m

I'm guessing that pic is taken with the wheels on the ground? What about at full droop can you take a pic?

well then i would have some real nice angles

Im not worried about the boots ripping. i have manual hubs so the boots dont see that many miles, and ill put it up in the air and see what they look like
