Firestones. I have seen these tires go through the thickes of mud and slow, burnt flat down to the cords, drift in the rain, slam into curbs, run over curbs, mash over brush, i've seen the brutally abused and still work very well. Love them. Would love to have another set, just wish they were offered in an LT build....instead of Passenger.

I currently have Firestone destination AT P245/75R16 on my truck and i have been 115mph on them. They are a great tire for the money. They do cup on the edges of the tred when you corner to hard to often which shows you how others have been driving your truck if they drove it hard. I drove mine hard in high school and have since calmed down a bit. Expenses are racking up in college life, i'd still save the money for a set of these over anything else because i know they work.

Also, put the white letters in because they get all scared up on curbs (learning to drive) and on the trails.

I'm on my second set of Firestones. I got 55k off of my last set with city, highway, mud, sugar sand, towing, lots of boat ramps etc. Never had an issue. Plus they are quite.

    +1 for the Generals.
I've had a set of 215/65 R16 for 65k+ on my Subaru and have been very happy with them on highway - very quiet and comfortable ride. Off road they've been great through loose dirt, gravel, sand, mud and such. They're not the best on the snow (that's what hankook winter iPikes are for) - but they are studable. They're off for the winter but I'll most likely get another season out of them.
I wouldn't be surprised to get 75k out of them as they're in such great shape.
