I did on my old truck. I have no issues with my wheel studs on my current truck.

Your a six lug right? 6x4=24. You need 5 sets so you will have one wheel stud left over.

I have these for the front. I needed a quarter inch spacer with the extended gorilla lug nuts because they bottomed out. I don't know if the normal lugs have longer bodies.

I ran open ended lug nuts with these. The other easy fix is get a cutoff wheel and cut them to length. I did this and had no issues with the threads getting messed up. Use a fresh blade and go slow.

What kind of open ended lug nuts did you use?

Only running them up front. Zero issues so far with the Lexus ARP studs. The truck is babied though and is used to look cool while cruising the mall... Haven't found a speed bump it can't handle yet!

Reviving an old thread, looking to go with longer wheel studs due to diminished thread engagement after installing AR172 rims ..... Have a set of the mentioned ARP studs, I see videos all over youtube on how to swap the fronts, but haven't found a video to do the rears. Thinking this may require the rear axles to be removed???? Any feedback from those who have performed the swap is appreciated.

Talk about a revival...lol. I ended up getting the ARP studs and haven't had any issues.

I used Toyota matrix studs. They are are 15mm longer and worked well for me.

    Dorman Part No. 610-463

    Much cheaper too

Don't know what the Taco specs are, but I ran into a similar problem a few years ago. Dorman hubs were a different spec on my 4Runner. Are yours maybe aftermarket and not OEM?
Here is a post I made about it.
