leveling kit help!

has anyone ever bought this or heard anything of 'supreme suspensions' on ebay? im looking to buy this, any reviews, complaints. please and thanks

Bilstein 5100's set in the middle setting and call it good.

 

Why do you guys look at that crap on ebay? If you are planning on doing any off-roading with the vehicle, you want to avoid that "all top-spacer lift", as it can lead to suspension component failure down the road.

What amount of lift are you hoping to go for?

 

I just want a leveling kit, 2" front

 

Bilstein 5100's set @ 1.75"

But i have really good shocks on rn, im on a budget lol i wanna spend around $250 max (including labor)

I wouldn't suggest a top spacer lift for anyone. However if all you do is 100% street driving and you just want to level the front end, I say go for it.

Just don't come back here blaming us if you decide to take your truck off road a few times and shit snaps/breaks. You get what you pay for and that's exactly what you get with a cheap spacer lift.

Either way here are some specs on the alignment, you have to ask, if they won't do it, go to another shop, there are techs in the business that will understand your request...


Toe 0*
Camber 0*
Castor 2.5* if possible...


Castor is the most important, it helps tremendously with steering wander, especially at speed...


As far as off road goes, graded unpaved roads are fine, you want to do anything gnarly you might break something (most likely your shocks), and you will be exceeding your $250 quite quickly...


Your present $250 might be just about what it is going to cost, hopefully you find a tech that will do the both install and alignment...

Spacers will deteriorate your springs exponentially (faster than normal). I had them while I was saving for bilsteins and 885's. In about three months, the springs sagged 1-1/2". So is your call. If your shock are fairly new, you could get the 885's instead and later get the bilsteins.

 

These are spacers that go on top of the assembled strut simply pushing the entire assembly down. Not sure how this will deteriorate your coils any fast than usual. All it’s really doing is pulling from the available travel in the suspension essentially increasing the angle of both lower and upper control arms as well as drive shafts.

And for the record eBAY crap is just as good as the crap (spacers) from any other off-road store. A spacer is a spacer and providing the material is adequate (grade of aluminum), dimensional specifications are accurate and hardware is equal to that of factory or better, what does it matter the brand and/or where you buy from.

Not a fan of spacers at all especially with 4x4s, but they work just fine for a lot of people and as long as you’re not trying to gain too much lift from them they serve the purpose. Bilstiens 5100 actually compress the coils as the ring is moved up, this changes the way the coil responds under pressure and can result in a stiff ride. The plus is you’re not shoving your suspension down more than the factory assembled strut would allow.

Honestly pic your poison but be modest in your approach (don't adjust the bilstiens to the 2.5 setting and keep the spacers under an 1").

thanks alot guys for all the info!!! i usually do only street driving but do fish alot, i dont do major offraoding or anything (prerunner) but do some sand driving rarely on the beach and hit bumps here and there... but ill go the safer way most likely and get the bilsteins
