Ok, not much help from the masses, but I did find the correct bulbs for my 2003 Tacoma Dbl Cab climate control panel. They are the neo-wedge type B bulbs, three of them. Very easy to get to and change.

They are not 74s. Look up "Neo-Wedge type B (T4).
10mm= 3/8. Photo below. These are the ones that worked for my 2003 double cab 4x4.

I wish I had seen this post before. I just ordered replacement bulbs for my sons 4runner. The suckers cost $10 each at the dealership. I had never heard of "neo wedge" bulbs but that is exactly what they are. Damn. A day late!

I got the cheap ebay ones and they all work awesome. I think I paid like $10 for all the dash lights. They all dim too.

A 2001-2004 4Runner will work. I just bought this bad boy for my truck because mine had that crappy orange paint on it and I wanted to put some nice LEDs behind it.

255/85-16 BF goodrich km3's, modified trail gear Bumpers front and rear, 10k winch, ranch rear lift shackles, Rancho coilovers in the front, grey wire mod, aftermarket stereo, camper top on the back.
that knob on the left of the steering wheel in first gens dims these sopke of lights... and yes even works for leds. the longevity and vibration resistance of leds is a great add on for those like me who have solid motor mounts.

Do you need the miniature wedge or wide angle wedge on the 194 LED's for the instrument gauge cluster? I went to the Superbrightled website and they have both. Which 5 LED build is it?

Junkyards, and you'll likely have to buy the whole control. $$$

Toyota no longer stocks just the faceplate, because their "part #" for it now just is for the orange one from our trucks.
