Hello im new here so here it goes. I took my 06 prerunner in to get another key made at a george. Everything is good until I get home an change keys and now the light will not stop blinking. So I put the new key back in it and its still frashing. The truck runs good and everything works. So how do I get the light to go out an but keys work like they should?

The key you had cut does not have a chip in it, thus the light will flash.
Which I thought was the engine immobilzer indicating light, yet you still can run the truck?
Is the other key in your pocket?

This reminds me of another thread a couple yrs ago where the kid had a Tacoma and got rid of it and bought a hummer. Then he came in here badmouthing tacomas and some members saying his h2 was way better than tacomas.

Does anyone remember who it was. Classic read!!!!

Did anyone else notice that in the OP he states he has an '06, but in his online description it says 2003 xtra cab?

Sorry I didn't pay attention when I felled out the info on my truck. Im not a troll smart ass. I just have a question and was looking for some help. But it looks like people here like to criticize people on there mistakes. I took last night an disconnected the battery waited 15 minutes more like 30. Bit still is flashing.and staying on solid when the key isn't in it.
