Got a flyer in the mail from Consumer Report - one of those buy this magazine flyers and saw the attached.
Comparing our beloved Taco's to the likes of the Chevy Spark and Mitsubishi whatever the hell.
Consumer Reports must have something against Toyota as 3 of the 5 new cars to avoid are Toyota products.

It's not new, it's not Mexico
They didn't lie. The Tacoma is an outdated truck and rides & handles like one.

Exactly! I bought the Tacoma because it is a truck! If you want something that is refined and rides smooth buy a Lexus!

#1 of the 5 consumer report magazines to avoid is Consumer Reports.
They judge on fantasy, not reality.

Tacoma is #1 on the list of "Vehicles to Invest In" in the latest schwangster Reports.
Followed closely in #2 with a tie between a couple ATVs, a dirt bike, or a ski boat.

Send me $2 for a copy of that report....

silly. Tacoma vs any other on skidpad? slalom? how do they back up this info?

course I haven't driven anything newer than 07, but what design changes in truck suspension warranted acceptable handling since sfa to ifs?

maybe handling refers to stereo/ a/c interface? seems to be the trend lately.

They were honest, but I like my Tacoma. Frankly, driving it makes me feel young again. Must be the dated design.

And yeah, whoever mentioned the Pathfinder, they effed that one all up. Looks like a Buick.

of course it has a rough ride cuz its made for offroading but hell i love my yota and i love the rough ride. I'd rather have a truck tough as a tank than a sports car or some luxurious ride any day.

I bought my Tacoma because of rugged looks, needed a midsize truck, Toyota reliability, and overall performance off and on road. CR is annoying, tell us Taco owners why the Tacoma continues to sell very well and its value is better than any truck on the road

No matter what anyone says, Tacomas are the best selling midsize trucks, and in town here Tacomas are the only trucks that you ever see in packs. Plus the only thing Toyota f-ed up on the Toyota is the damn ifs, shoulda kept that front solid axle.
