A little of this and a little of that.
Tonight is Jay Leno's last night hosting The Tonight Show. The guy is a huge automobile & motorcycle enthusiast. I've always thought he was a good comedian.

I like him as a car guy I'll watch Jay Lenos garage sometimes. Don't find him all that funny anymore on the Tonight Show.

Yeah, I enjoy his videos on Youtube. Don't watch much Tonight Show though, no satellite or cable.

Jay Leno actually seems like a decent guy because he openly has showed his collection to us plus he seems like a decent guy.

^^^ Carson is the king ^^^

I watched it last night and it sucked. I'm glad he's gone as I find Fallon much funnier. Johnny went out with Class. Jay went out with bullshit jokes and one small serious part.

I do enjoy Jay as a car guy and respect him for that. Never thought he was funny though.

Yeah I agree Fallon isn't in the same league as Leno. He is in a league all his own. He is far and away funnier than anything Leno ever said. I do respect Leno and his love of cars and obviously he had a following but I never laughed at one thing he ever said. Fallon is hysterical IMO.

Little sample of what to look forward too.

Went to The Tonight Show several years ago, stood on the stage and met Leno, he was a cool guy, nothing bad to say about him. Was treated well, even fed us a good meal after the show. Some people may not have cared for his comedy ,but from my experience I can tell you he's a good dude.

I like Jay, but I thought he was even better when he used to fill in for Johnny C.

No matter who hosts.... The Tonight Show will ALWAYS be Johnny Carson. Everyone else is just a "also ran".

Yeah they'll never be another Johhny Carson, he was a funny dude no doubt. I remember watching him when I was little and didn't get why people laughed at some of his stuff, but understood the humor later.

This is why Johnny was better than Jay to me. Jay's last show was full of stupid jokes with a small bit of seriousness.

Carson had no guests on his final episode of The Tonight Show on May 22, 1992, which was instead a retrospective show taped before an invitation-only studio audience of family, friends, and crew. More than fifty million people tuned in for this finale, which ended with Carson sitting on a stool alone at center stage, similar to Jack Paar's last show. He said these final words in conclusion:
“And so it has come to this: I, uh... am one of the lucky people in the world; I found something I always wanted to do and I have enjoyed every single minute of it. I want to thank the people who've shared this stage with me for thirty years. Mr. Ed McMahon, Mr. Doc Severinsen, and you people watching. I can only tell you that it has been an honor and a privilege to come into your homes all these years and entertain you. And I hope when I find something that I want to do and I think you would like and come back, that you'll be as gracious in inviting me into your home as you have been. I bid you a very heartfelt good night.”

That is going out with class and style.

Nice classic bOObs at 1:34. And that was funny when he ate the chip and that woman thought he'd ate one of hers lol.
    Yeah ole Johnny was funny.

Watching old shows is weird sometimes, somehow sparks things from the past, like memories or a feeling you made have had back then that you had forgotten. At least for me.
