We've tried aluminum and stainless steel, and they were ok.......but powder coated steel is the BEST.

I have a new powder coating guy, so production times should be more consistent.

PM for pricing and shipping quote. I respond right away

Here is the original thread with lots of customer pic's: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/273017-bed-brackets-pic-heavy.html

    And my pic's....

Probbly be a good idea to post "how to buy them" in this thread as well.
I'm really interested... Just not gonna go hunt through the other thread to find out and *maybe* get the right info to get some... Pricing might be a good idea too since there are a few itterations of them... I remember reading that you were changing to aluminum, and now back to steel sounds less expensive than stainless... Just sayin'

They look great. Might buy if the price is right. At least one bar if not 2.

Aluminum was way too much work to buff each one.

    Same with stainless.

Steel cuts the best with my plasma table, and cleanup is easy, then the powder coat guy does the rest.

Powder coated steel looks the best too. It's a textured coating, so it matches the bed nicely.

I changed the first post to include how to obtain pricing.

If you ride bikes, ski or snowboard, fish, hunt, or camp, there's a ton of uses.

I've scanned the last thread and I may have missed it, but I need somebody to explain to me the slot system. My Thule ski racks are designed to go over the bar on a typical luggage rack. Are you guys removing some parts to fit it through the slot?

It's simple. If you have a rack that can be bolted, you would use the slots to bolt them in.

If you have a rack that clamps onto a luggage style rack, you would just clamp it around the brackets without using the slot.

Cool. I was trying to remember all the pieces on my rack. Need to go home and look at it.

A few mods here and there and counting....
The Thule snowboard rack and other variants will bolt to these bed bars with ease. I use these bars year around. Bikes in the summer and snowboards in the winter. Superb product.
