Theoretical question; older 2nd gen appearance upgrade?

I know this would not be practical in the slightest but would it be possible to take the older 2nd gens and mod them to have a the new 2nd gen look?

 

Yes and several members have. Search "2012 front end conversion" or something like that and you will get parts lists and help.

 

Yes. A couple guys have done it already. Search username RAD.

 

I know that 2 people already said yes and there are plenty of people who have done this but im gonna say no.

 

This would be a good place to start. He has a lot of detail of everything he has had to do to make it happen.

The OP asked whether it was possible, not practical. Since it's been done by others, it's obviously possible. Practical? Maybe not, unless your mortgage is paid off and your retirement account fully funded.
