Does alternator produces constant power or accessory belt spins faster when driving and alternator produces more power. Thank you.

Well for the first question it depends on what you have turned on. For the second question you usually get about 50 to 60% of the rated output at idle. Here is a link that explains all this and even has a chart with rpm and amperage break down.

14.3 or so just like every other car out there. If you meant to ask about amps it depends if you have the towing package or not.

Voltage should be around 14.4. Not sure on amperage.

On my 2012 Off-Road w/towing package it has a 130 amp alternator. It also has the 400w inverter for the 110v outlet in the bed.

Those that are saying that 14.XX volts may want to recheck. I have looked at many and have never seen one that is charging greater than 14 VDC and they are usually reading about 13.7X VDC. This is normal.

    It's a 14v system. Almost all cars/trucks in North America are a 14v.. although I think big rigs use a 26v system.

Batteries are 12 volts so the vehicles system will be 14v so it can charge the battery.

If you're reading 13.7.. you're probably reading off the battery while the truck is running.. and that will fluctuate a bit with lights/ fans/ ac etc.

Read it right off your alternator will give you the truest voltage.

And I think the amperage for the alternator is 130.. But Im not sure about that.

The amps change on demand the amp output is controlled by the field voltage. This is the reason alt. systems use a voltage gauge and not an amp gauge if the voltage is there so are the amps. When you start to load the system down more voltage is applied to the field so the output voltage remains pretty much the same but the amp output increases. The max amp output is by design so the output is for the application.

I moded 1999 Taco so much it had turned to Land Cruiser
2007 here and my voltage is 14.7/.6 V as well. (Denso Tow package 130 Amp alternator. My "other" Toyota has 180 Amp Alternator but only gets 13.4 V at idle. I was going to rebuild alternator to see if I can bring to 14.0 V.
I think what is happening this is another case when Toyota way overbuild alternator for the truck. We dont have as much electronics as other Toyotas so 130 Amp alternator with 27F battery is large. That Alternator at idle has nothing to do.
