BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Make an expandable truck cap and I'd be impressed but I do appreciate your enthusiasm!

    WOW that looks sweet.

A few years ago I did a lot of research on these and came to the conclusion nobody made crap for our size trucks. Hopefully they do with this one.

I ended up making my own out of 1/4 plywood. So far so good. The only problem is they get kind of heavy and sometimes are a pain to pull out (even with wax on them).

I looked into this recently and even made an attempt at building my own. I ended up scrapping it and picking this up on Craigslist for $200. I'll finish out the sides and back latter.

Decked seems to be the most reasonably price bed organization on the market. the ability to have waterproof storage in the bed without sacrificing bed length would be fantastic. I emailed Decked to see if they can provide me with a status on the Tacoma version. If they respond I will post up what they send me.

Yep. They didn't give me any real info but they said they know that the tacoma community would like something like this. Also someone in their accounting has a tacoma and keeps reminding them they need to build one. :D

I really like the Decked design. I just talked a work colleague into ordering a system for his Tundra. I have the skills to construct a drawer/bed platform, and a DIY project like this would be fun. However, I really don't have the time for a build prior to summer road trips. Maybe Decked will surprise us and announce the release of Tacoma units sooner than next year.

A good friend of mine is a sales rep for Decked. They are working on a mid-sized option that should be out in a year or two. Having seen and played with his full sized version, I plan to get one when they're available. Maybe I should get him on here...

With the new Tacoma, as well as the new mid sized options from GM and Dodge, I know they're working hard to develop something for us.

A friend of mine emailed them about one for a Frontier or a Tacoma. They said at least 1-2 years out on it.
