I never had a problem with mine either but some people do for one reason or another.

Works great, tks for the notice and the link. Where can I find information on when the last map (navigation) took place? My truck is 2012 and was curious when the last map pack was released.

I received a notice in the mail around this time last year, I think it was, that there was a map update available. You have to pay for those though so I passed on it. If another one has come out, I'm not aware of it.

Apparently a 3.2 version released recently as well: http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/3...une-3-1-0-3-2-0-update-how-download-link.html

    old fix on 3.1.0
Some 2012 – 2014 model year vehicles equipped with a Display Audio Navigation System (Non-HDD)
and Entune™ (version less than 3.1.0) may exhibit one or more of the following conditions:
    • Turn-by-turn guidance is not given when routing through unverified roads (“In Process Map
Data” message displays in turn list)
    • Call volume through speakers is very loud upon first-time phone pairing (for Highlander, Tacoma,
    and Venza vehicles with JBL)
    • iPod®
    and iPhone®
(in iPod mode) autoplays when connected via USB
    • Bluetooth®
(BT) devices (in Bluetooth audio mode) autoplays when connected to the system

    3.2.0 fix details

Some 2012 – 2014 model year vehicles equipped with a Display Audio Navigation System (Non-HDD)
and Entune™ (version less than 3.2.0) may exhibit one or more of the following conditions:
    • Roads flash on and off in certain zoom levels (when Entune is in use)
    • Discolored bands appear across the screen (when Entune is in use)
    • Map area on the screen is black and only buttons are visible (when Entune is in use)
    • Navigation freezes (when Entune is in use)
    • When Bluetooth is the last audio mode selected in previous ignition cycle, audio source switches
back to Bluetooth when another source is selected immediately after the engine starts
Updated system software is now available to address these conditions. Follow the repair procedure
in this bulletin to install the latest software version.

Installed 3.2 and now music on my phone autoplays starting with the first song in the library when I connect my phone to the USB port if the source is set to ipod. I use the Pandora app on my iphone all the time. With 2.2 the Pandora app would start when connected to the USB port and source was set to ipod. Only way to get Pandora to autoplay now is to make sure the source is set to bluetooth. Also if I receive a phone call the source switches to ipod after the call and the music on my phone starts to play. Kind of sucks that this changed... shouldn't have updated!

Driving my new truck 1200 miles home, and several times, the system froze and had to reboot. Usually when starting the morning drive. Like every 5 minutes, buttons would not respond, and the unit would be stuck doing whatever it was doing, whatever music it was playing, etc. Usually freezing coincided with using navigation. Sometimes had to turn truck off, other times, could hold the power button down for 5-10 seconds and system rebooted. I would say this happened bout 8 times over two days. Again, usually at start of day. Had to wait about 30 min each time for the unit to work as it should.

Tried to determine which entune version I am running, but the descriptions listed for 2012-2013 versions dont get to same screen on mine. In fact, cannot find entune version anywhere in settings or otherwise.

Anyone know where to figure out what entune version is running on a 2014?

Anyone else having freezing problems with 2014 Entune Premium (non JBL)?

Cant tell, but seems to correspond to ipod use.

    Thank you

I'm having problems finding my Entune version as well on my 2014 DCSB with JBL Prem. I've tried going to settings and software information but I don't see anything that overtly says You have Version 2.11 or 3.10 etc. I did have an odd "mandatory update" yesterday when I was driving home that made it so my Entune suddenly appeared and started working. Even more odd, I'm on the of ATT unlimited grandfathered plans and it's still doing Pandora and Bing, etc thru my iPhone. I'm not tethered to it so not sure what's going on now.

I also found a link that seems to have Entune 3.2 update to it. I'm not sure if the versions between Camry's and Tacoma's etc are different but here is the website

I had read that the update you sent a link to does not work on 2014s like ours.

On a positive note, my freezing issues have not occured again for a while.

But I still dont know how to determine what version of entune we have.

Oh good, thanks for the info!! I guess I could always just go to the dealer and ask them, tell them I was having issues. Hell the truck is only 5 days old now. I just wish it was a little more intuitive with software updates etc. Trying to go to "update software" didn't do a whole lot. Entune has SUCH amazing potential just these little things.

Does anyone know what version of Entune is shipped with the 2014's??

I have premium audio + nav + entune and I also don't know where to look for my Entune version. Everything seems to be working fine for me except when I plug my iPhone 5 in, I am no longer able to access Entune apps.

iPhone will not work with Entune suite while connected with USB cable. It works Bluetooth only. Not sure why it's just the way it is.

Just lost my Bluetooth after Verizon updated my OS 4.4.2 on my android Motorola RazrM. Now it won't connect. Verizon is blaming Toyota and said it's their problem. Wife's phone paired up just fine with 4.1.2

My Galaxy S4 is on 4.3 and no issues. I'd start with just trying the repairing sequence if you haven't. If that doesn't work you could try a fresh reset of the phone. Sometimes major updates have some glitches in them that a reset will fix.

Is this the right way to update my 2014 Tacoma with Nav / TRD? I can't seem to find any mention of '3.1' '3.2' '2.0' etc anywhere, just a page with software versions that are like 6 digits..

Did you read any of the thread? 2nd page states this update does not apply to 2014 models. Not sure if an update has been released for you all or not.
