I have an 09 access cab. The factory original wheels look like a joke and I couldn't wait for the tires to wear down so I could toss them out. I've fitted 17" "BULLET" wheels with Goodyear 245/65/17 tires. These fill up the wheel wells, but there is no rubbing. EVER. I believe that these are as large as you can go and the 17" is still a relatively inexpensive size. I got it all from DISCOUNTTIRES.COM....About $900

Hey Guys first post I wanted to show my impulse red 07 Tacoma. I am almost finished. I'm waiting on some paint so I can color key my rear bumper. As far as my tire and rims, they are 16 x 8 by 4.5 B.S. which pushes out the tire just flush with the edge of the wheel well. Rims are MHT Fuel D525. 4.5 x 5 lug. The tires are Michelin ms2 225 x 70 x 16s which fill the wheel well pretty good. No fitment issues and the speedo is dead on. I have gone over sized by a little over an inch. 215 x 70 x 15 were 26.9" and the new rim and tires are 28.4" in diameter. No lift. Hope this helps someone trying to decide the right tire and rim combination, which was a tuff decision for me because I wanted to keep my suspension stock and not have automatic transmission shifting issues. Hope the picture works.:)
