May 10 & 11 Camping Outing @ Peacock Flats. The poll will show who is going camping for May 10 & 11, 2nd poll just Off Roading May 10, 3rd poll just Off Roading May 11. This will give us an idea on how many permits everybody needs to get or which group to go with.
    Campsite A
    https://camping.ehawaii.gov/camping/all,details,31716.html
    Campsite B (better upper one)
    https://camping.ehawaii.gov/camping/all,details,31707.html
You need to make an account and login. If B fills up, we can always reserve some at A and then just hang out at B together.
You can put a lot of people on one permit for each site. So we can just worry about reserving all the sites first, and then add people later. The guys who will camp for sure should grab them up. I'm gonna see if I can make a steel fire pit at work. No ground fires up there. Thanks Iven for the info.

    :D
We can get to the grounds early saturday and set up camp, then go wheel a bit. I'm sure some people would stay back and keep an eye on the campground. Then break camp early Sunday morning and wheel some more. Not sure how many trucks will be capable enough to go off the main road. I know I won't unless I have my sliders on by then. I'm camping for sure!

I'm in... but only camping.. i guess i volunteer to watch camp..

fyi.. Just clicked the link and doesn't work. .. How far out can we start getting permits?

If they don't attend to the main road by then it should be a fun drive up to the campground, especially if it rains. :D

If no one has armor, you probably want to stick with the roads we went down before. Once you get to the wheeling trails, you will be hitting the rockers on stuff. Mainly because of your wheelbase.

I most likely will be studying for finals so I'm probably not going to make it. I may be going up in April though.

One month in advance also got setup an account with them so you can reserve the camping spot. There is 3 camping spots on camp site B it can accompandate up to 21 people. Oh snap forgot about Mother's Day.

I'd be down for camping. My pup should be able to be out and about at that point. No armor so no hardcore stuff for me.

It says on the paper you need 4 wheel drive but if it is not raining or wet you should be able to make it to the camp site on the main road.
