I've searched -and-searched, found and read every thread, again-and-again, studied every description, diagram, photograph, googled every conceivable area of uncertainty. I'm not stupid, understand wire gauges, soldering, relays, switches, etc.

Based on info obtained here (Thank God for here), I purchased an ebay kit, which arrived w/o instructions - and of course, the wrong size switch.

    To avoid a screw-up, w/no wiring diagram present, here's what I got:

    1. single red wire - connector each end - male and female

    2.switch with three wires
    a. red wire ends at strands only
    b. yellow wire w/connector
    c. black wire with closed-circle connector

3 relay taped together with fuse
    a. two leads to lamps w/connectors
    b. yellow wire w/connector
    c. black wire w/horseshoe connector
    d. red wire w/closed-circle connector

    Wiring looks like this
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/05-11-Toyota-Tacoma-Fog-Lights-Clear-Lens-Front-Driving-Lamps-WiringKit-PAIR-/181327439691?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3AToyota%7CModel%3ATacoma&hash=item2a37f5274b&vxp=mtr#ht_2681wt_1206

I just need to know which wire is which, goes where and connects to what.

My other idea is a cosmetic fix - just pop bulbs in, no wiring at all.

HELP ME PLEASE!!! (I have read every thread)

Thank You. Truthfully, my head is spinning - I've bookmarked so many ebay kits and TacoWorld threads, I've confused myself.

To make matters worse...the switch problem.

I'll read the thread you thoughtfully attached and see where I end up; trying to avoid a stupid mistake,

    Thanks again,
    Jeff

Finding the switch-match is very difficult as ebay sellers all appear to indicate that it is the correct match to the blank, which seems never to be correct - and if you purchase the correct switch separately the after-market connectors do not match.

$56 - that's the price a dealer quoted me today for the elusive switch.

(I was there to 'pick-up' two 'dual-purpose' 6" seatbelt extenders)
