Extreme awkwardness here, maybe even Aspergers. Mostly look at the person but not much direct eye. I have to struggle to make some fleeting eye contact. Plus struggle not to make boob contact with women.

Still manage a 6 figure job somehow.

I find myself reading lips instead of having eye contact.

I need to be in your industry! I'm the same way, despite my previous post.

I do that too, mostly because I'm partially deaf in my left ear.

It's hard not to look at cleavage but I do my best to maintain eye contact, especially at work. The worst is when they have a titty tattoo that is playing pickaboo, which is an open invitation to stare, but I must refrain if I'm at work. Sometimes line of vision gets me though.

Man - lock on e. s, size up build with peripheral vision at same time, see who looks away first, determine who's Alfa dog.

Women - first, eyes. Then look right at her body. Determine if doable. She's no dog..... do her.

I wish I could read lips. I'm much better at hearing background noises. This creates a problem at times because I can be somewhere that is noisy and could tell you what music is playing (nobody else is aware music is being played) but struggle to hear the person right in front of me.

This is the most common I think. I say it depends on the situation. If I am talking to an employee or vendor, I try to maintain constant eye contact. It is a common managerial tactic so that the other person might feel more intimidated. Also if you make them break eye contact first, then psychology shows that you will end up with the upper hand if there is a debate. It shows that the other person is caving in.

As for social interaction I tend to make eye contact while talking, but will break eye contact as to not be intimidating or aggressive. The alterations to this are to look at the mouth, so that I show I am still paying attention to what THEY are saying, or look at something that we are interacting with. (food on table, drinks in glass when social.... or perhaps when making hand gestures I will look at my hands for a moment) Psychology shows that typically in a conversation the other person will follow where your eyes look out of base curiosity. Good god, I almost wrote a dissertation there! Hahaha. Got carried away. Here, let us get to base instinct...

    Eyes
    Boobs
    other woman's boobs....

    Better?

Guys I always make eye contact or look into space. Especially if its my bosses.

If it is a lady I can not help myself to not glance at their boobs then make eye contact every time. Once my friends wife closed her blouse haha. Just the other day I had to make eye contact with a female co worker while I was sitting and she was standing very close. Her boobs were just staring at me!

With guys I either look them in the eye or mindlessly stare out into space or through them. With women I'll gladly stare at their eyes if they are pretty but only after giving them the up down haha

To be fair, if I was talking to Scarjo I wouldn't be able to maintain eye contact either.
Or talk, for that matter. I'd probably just mumble unintelligibly.

Scarjo has a lovely body but I hope I'm not crossing the line here. She's a little bit of a butter face. I say little bit because it's not a deal breaker for anyone.

Seeing as I'm not dating her, I fail to see how that's crossing a line...
And if I was dating her I doubt I'd care about your opinion even then. I'd be like "Psh, I'm dating Scarjo. Whatever you say is moot"
