    I have a 2009 Tacoma access cab,
I wasn't planning on getting rid of this truck so I installed my own stereo. Well things change and 2 car seats and the wife can will not fit.
So I'm looking for the factory head unit, sub, and front speakers. The sub looks like a flux capacitor.
I live in Knoxville TN and if the price is right I will be willing to pay for shipping

Just a quick note. The access cab didn't have the jbl option. I thought it was too when I bought my 11. The flux cap thing isn't even powered it was a passive sub thing. A jbl head unit will not work in that truck. Just figured I would share some knowledge that I found out after I spent 1000 dollars extra when I bought mine thinking it was jbl

Too bad mine is not JBL, i have my stock head unit. may see if another TN member put in after market audio and has the JBL.

sad to see it go man. what you getting next? 4 runner?. if so talk to justin(i think thats his name, and idk his last name) at toyota of knox. he is the sells guy for the 4runners/tacomas/fj and tundra. he sold us my truck and is a nice sails guy. did not feel like he tried to jerk us around or lie to us about the truck.

Well I'm trading my truck in on something for the wife. Then I will probably end up with a 1st 2nd or 3rd Gen 4rumner or quad cab Tacoma 1gen.

Are your sure it just wasn't the 11s I know there is power going to the sub ill have to double check but if any factory Tacoma head unit would work then it will.make things easier

I haven't seen one and I know for a fact the capacitor sub had a light on it but the 6.5" sub in it was a passive sub. A super easy way to know is do the door screens where the speakers are say jbl on the screen or where the aftermarket deck you put in is there a big box that the radio plugged in and the plugged into the factory plugs. Which is a big tale as the non jbl system only has one factory plug. Figured unless they did something crazy in your 09 you shouldn't have jbl. I remember thinking I paid an extra grand and thought I got the jbl system and realized that was definetely not even close to the case.

I remember having two plugs in the factory head unit. One I thought was for the speakers the rest I thought was for the steering wheel controls, xm/sirius radio, and auxiliary port.

If you haven't got any yet, I have some i'll send to ya out of my 2008 that have been sitting in my attic. If you pay for the shipping cost they are yours. I live about 30 miles from the TN border on I75 in Kentucky. Let me know.

**Never mind. If I could read, it looks like you want the JBL system.**

Haven't thought that far ahead. The wife and I are having our 2nd child and 2 car seats can't fit in the Tacoma so it has to go.
My components are Boston acoustics 6.5 and I got the adapters for the speakers from Taco Tunes. I'm not against selling my components though.
I do know I will be selling my sub box since I built it for my truck it

This is my box it holds a front firing 10. You cam see in the oic the jump seat is down and a car seat on the other side. The front seat is moved up for the picture. It looks like an arm rest for the back with the seat back.
    I built the box to accept a JL 10w6. I was running a 10w1.
