Hey guys, since I don't have the color matched signal mirrors (maybe I will someday) I am going to add some LED sigals to my mirrors in between retrofits.

I thought it was a more advanced process but it's literally take the mirror off the backing plate, glue the LED signal in and replace the glass.

Now I am going to assume that the power mirror plug already has the active turn signal wire for the signal mirrors? Or do you think that they would leave that out? I am asking because when I went to do the foglight anytime mod my fuse box doesn't even have the terminals for the options I don't have like the inverter, heated seats etc. Hopefully somebody might know.

This is what we are going for

Let me know how hard it is to pop that glass off, Id be interested in doing this myself. Id imagine you would have to scrape off the stuff where the LEDs are going to go to get the best results as well.

Its actually a semi transparent finish on the back so the LEDs shine right through

I think the wires for turn signals may be there, but might not actually be hooked up to work. I've read in another thread with people swapping mirrors that this was the case for them. Where are these LEDs available by the way?

You can get them all over ebay and such.

Apparently it's a little more popular than I thought it would be
