I got some 265/75-16 Cooper ATP's a few weeks ago and I really like them. My speedometer is dead accurate now with the slightly over size. They're good in the snow and I only hear a slight hum when both the radio and A/C fan are off. They have a nice semi-aggressive look to them. They are P rated so it's a nice smooth ride but not the best choice if you do a lot of off roading. That being said, when I lived in Phoenix I did a fair bit of off roading with P rated tires and never had a problem.

The best A/T tire is the one that best fits your needs. There are lots of good A/T tires out there. Its Mostly personal preference.

I really like my Kelly Safari TSR's. Aggressive look and quiet on the road. Cant really comment on longevity yet as I've only had them on for about 7K or so but so far so good. Also in 265/75/16 they run about $160 as opposed to about $220ish for Duratrac's.

My vote goes to Goodyear Duratracs. Hate to admit it, but my Duratracs pound the pavement 99% of the time. :( With that being said, they handle mall parking lots like a boss and the tire wear is fantastic.

New to TW and thought I'd post a reply here. Loving the Cooper Zeon LTZ's on the '11 taco DCSB. Very quiet and performs great so far on the south fla hard and soft roads. Not to mention a nice ride IMO. 285/70/17's

    Wouldn't you like to know!
The warranty and install were extra, road hazard warranty was $80 very worth it though as I've already had to replace a tire  due to a huge chunk of sheet metal that was in the road by my house where they are building another house(Boy did I bitch them out hahaha).

overall I was happy, I got a $70 rebate on top of the $126/tire price and they matched the lowest price on the wheels that I could find online:D financed at 0% interest for the first 9 months on the discount tire card, so I was actually able to spend more of my income tax on other toys:cool:

I was thinking that the E was way too much tire for a Tacoma, but I like the idea of tough sidewalls. I got a flat once driving down a recently graded road. Apparently grading turned the rocks into little arrowheads. I decided then that good tires were a must.

This is just really hard to believe. I had Destination ATs on my Ram 2500 and they sucked bad, worst tires I can remember having. They only lasted 30k miles and during that time I had 3 flats. OK, maybe it was bad luck, but statistically something tells me there's more to it than that. They were worn unevenly and one had a slowish leak when I replaced them a couple weeks ago. Also, during that time when I had one of the flats I had to wait 4 months to get new a new tire because of a national shortage. Ridiculous.

Mine were the E rated LT tires, so maybe that made a difference, but these were just bad tires, especially for the price. In my experience most modern AT tires are pretty good with only slight variations under certain conditions, but these stood out as terrible. I am very pleased with the Revo 2s on it now.
