I bought this kit as a bit of a "bucket" list item. I'm not sure what to do with it yet. I've got a 2001 4runner 4x4 with the big flares that I DD about 30k miles a year.

I've got a vision of getting some 5+" backspaced 17" wheels and trying to run this kit with stock fenders. However, i'm not really sure how feasible that is (even if I limit travel) and since I'm 4x4 I'd need to invest some more $$ in axles.

I also have a 4th gen 4runner rear axle (complete with disc brakes, etc) that would allow the rear to almost match the front.

My 4runner is currently built with Donahoe (icon) front coilovers, Allpro winch bumper, 285/75/16 BFG all-terrains on TRD FJ cruiser wheels. It really is a great set-up and has been cross country and gotten me where I need to go.

SO, i figured I'd see if there is someone out there with a nice (newer) mid-travel set-up that wants to go full-LT. My Donahoe shocks currently need to be rebuilt (not a big deal) but it would be a nice time to upgrade. Obviously it would be a trade plus cash on your end. I'd look at Icon, King or Fox 2.5" shocks (with remote reservoirs) and an upper arm (optional).

So, before I get impatient and throw this LT kit on my 4runner show me what's out there.

    $1800.

I would be very interested in parts of this kit to upgrade my mid travel to LT! I can never find Lower Control Arms for sale because I already have The UCA's. I have been working on my truck since 09 adding bits here and there when I can afford parts so I know what you mean when your worried about how feasible it might be. There seems to always be an extra expense I miss and sends my budget through the roof! If the kit you have now does the job sometimes just adding the UCA's with the right top hat and coil-overs is significantly less on the amount you will spend and the work it takes to install, and adds just that little bit more to your ride. Let me know if your interested in selling/trading the coil-overs and Lower Control Arms, I would love to snag them! My kit keeps the travel safe for stock fenders and has 2.0 fox coil-overs with the same UCA's as your's

We'd have to trade the full setup, like the other poster said, your UCA won't work with the rest of this kit.

The coils are 16/600. 2.5" 8" travel (I assume but, I'll double check). It is the standard Total Chaos Tacoma kit. The coil overs are complete, just need a nitro charge. I do have Beard limit straps and the tie rod extenders as well.

My understanding on the kit is that it has changed hands a few times on "never ending" project trucks but was never run on either of those two trucks. It was finally run for a few hundred miles on the last guy's DD 4runner when he started parting out his unfinished project but he sold that for a truck.

I really want to trade at this point for a new mid-travel kit to upgrade my current donator suspension. However, I will PM you.

No I would know if it could work, I've looked into LT for a long time just haven't had the budget. I have the TC Upper control arms just like the ones in your kit. I bought them for a MT setup which is whats on my truck now. We would only trade the shocks and I would buy the lower control arms off of you.

The stock oem replacement upper control arms that you have do not work with these lowers. The LT kit males it 3.5 inches wider. If the ones you have now are 3.5 inches wider you would have camber and toe issues.

I've had a few ask about buying the entire setup outright. I would need $2000 for it with the coilovers, etc. I'm not going to part anything out and would still prefer a trade + cash.
