I was thinking about putting a grille guard on my truck and I have down to two different models (still open to other suggestions). The one I am leaning towards is http://westinautomotive.com/westin/viewproduct.jsp?prod=Sportsman+Winch+Mount+Grille+Guard&id=29&vehicleId=&year=2013&make=TOYOTA&model=Tacoma&submodel=&cabstyle=&guid=855669eb-7438-aec0-9727-4780c1a53674

the second one i was looking at is http://westinautomotive.com/westin/viewproduct.jsp?prod=Sportsman+Grille+Guard&id=30&vehicleId=&year=2013&make=TOYOTA&model=Tacoma&submodel=&cabstyle=&guid=0d9c6da3-c38e-995f-ac85-6c284342e82a

the only reason i would go with the second is its cheaper. if anyone can tell me what they think of westin products or if they other grille guards they like let me know. thanks for reading!

I love all the fellow Jersey people here. Fire, I love that setup and was looking to do the same but did all that weight on the front end cause any problems with your front end suspension or any sag?

There might a lil sag. Not much. Rides great with the billies and eibach coils. Between winch, mount and grill guard its aroun 120lbs

how long does the black ones stay rust free? I had one on my jeep years ago and it lasted about 4 years before it started to rust. I know the SS ones have a lifetime warranty and I think the black powder coated have a 5 year warranty.

I'm thinking about getting the same mount. Can you tell me how far it sticks out ? Do you have side profile pics?

Ouch! 2008 grille guard will fit on a 2016 Tacoma?
Your 2" wider than our trucks.
You will have to consider that and if the frame is wider.
I don't have the answer you seek...
