Been meaning to start a build page and had a friendly bump to get it started. Here is my Tacoma when I bought it in Nov. 13'

Spent a good amount of time looking for the right truck and have been very happy with it so far! Went with a newer year 2nd gen with higher mileage in my price range. Only problem with my decision so far is I like driving it so much the mileage decision may have been a mistake. We will see how far I can take it.
It has 5100's all around and was rolling on BFG Km2's 285 70/17. First thing I did was put some Toyo AT2's 265 70/17 on it to improve the ride. I think I will be going back to 285's next round.

Here is a list of mods I have throw at it.

I really like the HU so far. Pictured is my PhoneSkope on my iPhone 5 digiscoping on my Swarovski spotter. Being able to let everyone in the truck look through the scope at the same time is pretty neat!

I switched all the fluids out to synthetic oil's. Previous owner seems to have taken great care of the vehical.

Dropped in a K&N filter. Seen no difference in feel, but the sticker on the filter housing looks good!

Picked up some ride rite air bags and OEM roof rack from DefConBrix. Thanks man.

Installed the trailer plug relocation bracket from bullaculla. Sweet product and great service!

Rearview mirror relocation bracket from Fellow TW member.

Was lucky enough to save up my Cabelas points and hit the employee discount sale for some Wet Okales front and back. The smell for a few weeks was horrible but well worth it.

My favorite mod so far has to be my SOS Concept sliders! Eddy is a great guy and service was second to none! Had a local company fab some steps that are removeable so if I head to the hills they come off quickly with a 1/2" socket and end wrench. Finished them off with a coat of Rhino Liner so touch ups will be easy with rust oleum rattle can.

Yeah mine's a metra from crutchfield too. Huh, must just be the different color. Do you notice that sometimes the top kinda works its way lose and you have to push it back down?
