I have had a Sirius sat reciever for several years now, I swap it out between my 2011 Tacoma and my boat. I have a great spot for it on the boat, In the Tacoma not so good I am using the "Vent Mount" attachment fitted to one of the AC vents, it works ok but That's fine this time of year, in July / August in Louisiana we need all the cool air we can get, blowing in the face. Picture of mine mount below, sorry, night time pic with cell phone and viewed sideways!
I am wondering if anyone here has found a good, non vent place to mount the reciever?
    Thanks in advance!
    Steve

I have a starmate 3 and use the self adhesive mount on the dahsboard with some double sided 3m body trim tape. Routed the cables along the door frame and under the dash. not sure what other mounts they have for your model

I had a 2010 and mounted mine in one of the forward center cup holders. It was a nice clean look because you can run the wire out the bottom of the console.

When I had my 2006, I mounted the XM through the empty plastic piece below the vent. You can see most of it in the pic below:

Thanks to all for the suggestions
I now mounted it in the coffee cup holder as suggested earlier.
The spot below the vent might work too, how did you mount it there, velcro, screws, or?
    Thanks
    Steve
