That's pretty much what I have under my bumper. I was just looking for a little more out of the reverse lights, but the LEDs I got are decent

If you're happy with how bright your aux lights are - just wire them into your backup lights via solenoid so that when you put it in reverse they come on, and be done with it.

08' X-Runner , Sirius radio, fog light mod. Much more to go.
I've been planning to do a reverse light upgrade myself on my X-Runner and yesterday I took a quick looksie at what I was up against in terms of mounting. I wasn't too happy at what I saw. Because the X-Runner has the body kit that wraps around the back corners of the bumper, and it does this not parallel to the ground, there is no way to mount aux lights level and square to the bumper itself without having to hang down too low. Yeah, I could mount one below the center of the bumper itself but if I ever want to put a trailer ball on , that option would be nixed. I'll have to explore more.

Another thing I was thinking about was how to wire these aux lights so as they will turn on with the reverse lights and I'd like to have an over ride switch as well. The problem is that if I set up an over ride switch , whenever I turn the aux lights on, the reverse lights would be back fed and turn on as well. Gonna have to figure out what size diode to use or find a dual coil single pole single throw relay to fix that issue. I think a beefy (correctly sized) diode is the solution.
