Finally got around to completing it. Worked out really well imo. Looking forward to seeing others do the same.

Thanks man, they helped throw some more black accent on the truck while removing my tire rub issue. I decided to dip the surrounding grill, because it came stock as chrome :(

I bought a color matched one and sold the chrome on on craigslist. All chrome must die...

This looks great. I'm thinking about doing this with mine. I have a black taco with the dark grey grill. Does anybody know what it might look like with white Toyota letters? I'm kind of thinking black, grey, and white might be to much. Any opinions?

Great! No problems at all for probably over a year now.

Hey guys. I know I'm late but I just got a Tacoma. I got the grill and letters. I had it black. Then painted it. I've gotten two compliments on it, but I personally don't like it. It's only been a day, but I'm already thinking about repainting it. Any opinions?

Maybe you can paint the grill glossy black (as is) and then paint the letter flat black. That way they may stand out a little more but still be subtle.
