I haven't heard of too many people (if any) running it. Old Man Emu (OME) and Toytec seem to be the most dominant.

Nothing too good to be true about it, shackles in the back with shocks, and a spacer lift up front. If your leaves are like all others they are worn out and you won't get quite as much lift out of the shackles, and most people don't like the ride with a spacer lift, usually rough (pun?). But if your looking for a cheap lift and not looking to upgrade much else or pay much its good i guess

Best cheap lift spacers and shackles

Best budget lift 5100 with new coils ( can run stick for worse ride quality)

Really good lift on the cheaper side ome leaf pack non adjustable but valved for off roading

Best lift while trying to save some money but not skimp icon stage one or another brands coil overs with same parts

Best of both worlds with out going long travel would be your choice of coil overs control arms new leaf pack rear shocks ect

Some people may not agree but this is a bacic list of your options.. The only real question is how much are you willing to spend or not spend for your lift and how worried are you about performance..

Best bang for your buck if you ask me is the full ome kit if its something you daily and are not building something for primarily off road use.

And for your question if you want any performance its crap imo

^Good Call. My rig came with Rough Country shocks and "rough" was the best way to describe my ride. My current Bilstiens ride way better. Just make sure to get shocks long enough to compensate for your lift.

    good idea

using a shackle to gain lift with no changes to the leaf pack will just wear down your leaf pack faster; esp since you drive an older 1st gen

even with an AAL though, watch your leafs if theyre sagging
