I'm hoping to get a running thread for people to see alignment sheets and your lift info. I see lots of people say "I lifted 2.5" or 3" and no ucas needed" "it's in spec" we wanna see the numbers :) 1.4 caster is "in spec" but probably wanders a bit. Post them up !

You don't want things in spec, per se.. specs are for stock trucks - yours is now lifted, so "in spec" isn't necessarily the best place to be.

Yeah, the instructions that came with my UCAs stated that any angle from 3 to 5 degrees could potentially be acceptable in this lift application. My truck drives straight and the steering wheel returns how it's supposed to so I'm happy with it.

Sweet, I don't get too hung up on numbers either.. if it drives good and the tires are wearing normally then what it says on the paper isn't important.

Where did you go? I would take it back and make them fix it for free until it's dead straight

    It was local tire shop
Paid $45 how much does it usually cost?
Went there twice maybe i will go bak there after settle a little bit.
I kind dont feel safe when i hit the dump steering wheel goes everywhere and when i make turn i hear tire squeaking.
Steering wheel feel too light it used to be firm. I got spindle lift and fox coil overs and all pro expo in the bak levels about the same.

I wouldn't wait because then they won't honor their work and charge you again.

Either that or take it to another reputable shop and take the bill back to that place and have them reimburse you for what they couldn't get right the first time

I've installed a few lift kits for other people, in addition to my own trucks. I make it abundantly clear from the get-go, I do NOT do the alignments. I will help a person do the research to make certain they buy all the right parts for me to install so that their truck can be PROPERLY aligned. I have a shop I suggest to customers for alignments. The tech that does them is VERY much into off roading and knows what he is doing. He has his own set of "specs" for stock and lifted trucks of various brands, plus, he will do the alignment to your specs if that's what you request. So....My best advice is to find an alignment shop where the techs own and drive lifted 4wds as a starting point. At least they SHOULD have a good basic knowledge of what they're doing.

Ive been going bak there and keep fight it but they said they already did three times and this is what their best is because i have a lifted truck.
And the owner is saying that everyone lift their car and gets new rims and tires. Since I didnt get new rims and tires they cant get the alignment right.
What kind of bull shit is that????
